Sinagua Maltstock: Celebrate 51 Million Gallons with Arizona Wilderness on November 7
Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co., one of Sinagua Malt’s founding brewery partners, is hosting Sinagua Maltstock on November 7, 2026. It’s a beer festival created to celebrate Sinagua Malt, Arizona terroir, and the river that connects them.
The festival’s official beer, aptly named Maltstock, is a Double Red IPA brewed to showcase the flavor of Arizona-grown, malted and roasted Sinagua barley. It joins other Sinagua-forward beers in the Arizona Wilderness lineup, including Miracle Mild, an English Mild brewed exclusively with Sinagua Malt.
51,000,000 gallons, and you were part of it
This year, Arizona Wilderness and Sinagua Malt kept 51,000,000 gallons of water in the Verde River. Every pint brewed with Sinagua Malt helps keep more than 50 gallons of water in the river, because the barley behind it is grown in winter and harvested before the Verde drops to its summer lows.
That number doesn’t belong only to farmers, maltsters and brewers. It belongs to everyone who chose a pint of Arizona beer. So we made a shirt to say it.
The Maltstock t-shirt
We’re launching the official Sinagua Maltstock t-shirt at the festival. The front has a small badge on the left chest: a barley stalk rising from the Verde River, with the words “Every Pint Keeps the Verde Flowing.” The back shows the Verde winding through golden barley fields, with red rock mesas and a saguaro behind it, and it tells the whole story: 51,000,000 gallons in the Verde River… and I was part of that.
